Moving on to March:)

February was a fun month! I tried yoga, a HIT class and few new recipes. Yoga just wasn't for me. Too slow:) I love jumping around much more. I told my hubby I would do yoga when I couldn't do SWEAT anymore. HIT was way too crowded for me. It was to the point that there was no equipment left and I would have to trek across the gym to get extras. By the time I got back and got set up I missed the instructions to the circuits and was completely lost. Not for me, especially after being frustrated all day at school. The last thing I want to do is be frustrated when I am trying to do something fun.
So I am back up to 6 days a week of SWEAT ( I did this in December) and loving every workout we do. I even found myself thinking Thursday's was easy and it was leg day. I love progress and any variation of a burpee thrown my way!

March's plans:
Workouts
Monday-Saturday: SWEAT
Wednesday, Saturday: Zumba
Monday, Friday, Saturday: pup walks
Sunday: either run or walk the pups depending on the weather. If I run nothing crazy just 2-3 miles. Not trying to injury myself. I have been working out really hard for quite awhile now and listen to my body much better than I did a few years ago:)
I did noticed that on the calendar at the gym this month they have included the focus for each class (like legs, shoulders, core, etc.). I have mixed thoughts on this. Part of the excitement with this class was not knowing what you were going to be walking into. Though this way people who only attend class 2-3 times a week can pick and choose which they would like to do. Plus I am sure it helps organized the trainers so they know well in advance what's coming their way. There are so many different people who teach this class.

Tracking:
Yepper, back at it. I am 2 pounds from my goal. It may take me awhile to get there, but I will get there;) Nice and slow. I did see some pretty low numbers this month. Consistency is the key:) I also started tracking my sleep last month. That was also interesting. There really is no reason why I sleep more or less some nights. Just the way it goes. Going to try it this month so I can compare and see if I noticed any insights.

Recipes:
Still going strong trying one new recipe a month.
Highlights last month:
*Homemade chocolate chips-super easy
* Zucchini sweet potato pancakes
*Almond flour/coconut flour pancakes so good even my hubby likes them.
*Chia protein "oatmeal"-my new favorite breakfast:)

Looking forward to shoulders at SWEAT and Zumba!!! Might also get the pups out it is not raining.

    Your new recipes sound wonderful. I'll have to check out the chia protein oatmeal as I'm trying to find new ways to use chia seeds. thanks!

    Your post was inspiring. You tried so many things, and seem to have a love affair with exercise, something that eludes me. but, this month I resolve to try something new!
