MY CHALLENGE

Saturday, March 02, 2013

This blogging aspect of the 5% winter challenge is going to be tasking for me because i am really not into writing (i don't know if i actually cannot write or i simply do not have time for it).

It is almost a year i joined SP and i barely have 5 blogs to my name. I think this blogging challenge is specially made for me and it is going to stretch me to my limits.

This week i am going to create time for blogs whether i like it or not.
I also believe blogging will make me accountable to my healthy living.

Blogging is going to challenge me no doubt but i am going to tackle it like i did with my fitness habits . . . little at a time.
I am looking forward to it and i will give it my best shot.

Please do not be disappointed with my lack of prowess in writing.

I LOVE YOU ALL . . . YOU MAKE ME TICK.

So blogging itself will be your new habit--that's pretty cool, given that we were encouraged to focus on healthy habits in our blogging this week! emoticon

emoticon And it doesn't have to be long--just a little window into your life, what you're thinking about. I look forward to reading more!

Yeah, the blogging challenge isn't my favorite, but it is a great opportunity to get to know people from other teams and your own. I'm looking forward to your blogs!

I go for months without blogging, but then something gets too "heavy" for me to carry and I have to get it out of my head, or I have an AHA! moment and have to share because I get so excited and motivated.
I know that for the most part, my blogs are random and may or may not make any sense to anyone but me, but there really is a release when it comes to blogging through an emotion, or crisis, and it is so much better than turning to food...which we all know does not solve the problem! (smiles)
Blogging may not solve the problem, but it helps to get it out of your head, to bounce it off someone else, to admit or own a mistake or setback and move forward.
Keep up the good work starfish!!

Don't feel bad! I'm a professional editor and writer yet still not into blogging on Sparkpeople. I just wrote my first entry for the winter challenge. Whew! I don't think the challenge will turn me into a Sparkpeople blogger, but I'm willing to give it a shot.

Hope you're having a great weekend!

I know exactly what you mean, I do not like to blog either...it's just not in me.

With a little effort I guess, emoticon emoticon
