this is a blog inspired by the 5% challenge, about habits we'd like to create.
habit no. 1 is getting 8 hrs of sleep.
sounds easy enough, just go to bed 8 hrs before you want to get up, right?
not so easy if you've got three cats and no doors, and one of those cats is georgie.
this fella is a prime example of a calculating cat. he wants breakfast about 4 hrs into those 8, never fails. breakfast? oh no, he'd rather go OUT. meaning I have to get up, get dressed, and take him downstairs.
how does he do it? two techniques. first, his claws; he can portion out the pressure just enough not to scratch my skin, but activate my nerves enough to... well... ok you get the picture. second, he walks all over my hair. no, not the long stuff that's all over the pillow, he gets to the root of things so I get the impression i'm going bald.
not bad for a cat the vet was planning on putting down just five days ago.
and what am I going to do about it?
learn to live with it, I suppose. i'm just glad georgie is still around.
