Where has February gone?

This year is just flying by! emoticon

Can't quite get my head around the fact that it is MARCH already!

I have quit both the Fernwood gym and left Curves after the 3 supervised sessions of the circuit. emoticon emoticon yes mixed feelings.

I am currently working long hours and was getting quite stressed about not having time to go to the gym! emoticon

So my strategy now is to utilise the equipment that I have at home and save on membership fees at the same time.

I now have the luxury of a laptop so can now get the Sparkpeople exercise videos up on the large TV screen and make use of them as well. emoticon

I am also embarking on a 3 week program to shift stored fat. Once I have completed the program I will let you know what I think of it . It works on the philosophy of keeping my food intake to food that has not been processed at all and steering clear of all grain based foods.

I have a persistent 7 kgs to get rid of by August. My goal is to be 60kgs at 60 years of age!

    I know what you mean about finding time after work to go to the gym. I'm also struggling with it. I drive past my gym on my way home from work but I need the determination to stop in and exercise. I'm normally tired after work and I'm sure you feel the same. I'd love to hear how your 3 week program goes. emoticon

    I can relate to where you are at - working so many hours has left little time for exercise and I really do need to make it a priority again.

    Thanks for stopping by my blog Libby and good to see your blog!! My Chiropractor was telling me about a pill like that. Sounds interesting...yes do let us know how it goes! He liked the program...it started with an H-can't remember now. I should write things down more! emoticon

    Sorry to hear you have been so swamped with work! That is great you are finding a way to get in exercise, and I hope Sooty is a part of that plan too! Eating no processed is a great way to go! I usually end up not eating any grains I eat so many freggies, don't miss them or need them -you get plenty of fiber naturally.

    Yes Sparks Videos are great, I use them all the time, just on my computer monitor, not sure how to watch it on my TV, but then of course, I am computer challenged.

    WOW! I am reading your BLOG! Finally just decided that if Spark People worked before, it will work again! Yes, and I can do the Spark exercises with Coach Nicole on my iPad, and even do them at the library before anyone gets there! You'll do fine without your membership, I just know it! Drex got us a membership because we like to swim, and we go to water aerobic classes two or three times a week if we can.

Thank you so very much for your lovely comments on my blog ... I am now on Isoptin and they seem to be working well .
My heart rate is so much better and I don't seem to be getting the extra and missed beats I was having .
So lovely to,hear from you .
I am glad you are using the exercise equipment you have at home, as it is so easily available . Marian also has a birthday in August. And was wondering what date you are ? .
