Can I get an AMEN?

Friday, March 01, 2013

I was shopping today and just enjoying some time alone.I could'nt help overhearing an arguement.Intending to mind my own business I moved on.Soon I heard sobbing and could'nt help myself.I cautiously peered around the corner and spied an elderly lady on the floor.I flagged a manager and told her to call Mall medical aides. That sweet little lady was scared to make trouble for her Hot Headed daughter. She had us put her back in her wheel chair that, her daughter shoved too hard and turned her over.OMG I was so hurt for her and angry beyond words.I mean "Give me one hour with my Mama"I miss her so much!I love elderly people and they don't deserve that treatment. If Ever I had did something like that,my siblings would have came for my hide to nail to their trucks! If you ever get mad enough at your elders,WALK AWAY and calm down!! emoticonSUSAN

I just don't understand how people can abuse those who are weaker than themselves, whether children, the elderly, or animals.

My husband was in a wheelchair and I would never do that to him. I also miss him and would loved to have him here with me wheelchair and all.
She will be sorry when her grandmother passed and will not be able to talk to her anymore.

How awful. That daughter should be prosecuted for elder abuse.
I'm glad you changed your mind about 'minding my own business'.

AMEN!!!! I didn't get to see my grandparents. I know I missed out on a lot, because my kids really, really enjoyed their sadly short time with both sets of their grandparents.

People must remember, they put up with you when you were a pain, so be kind. Besides, your children are watching and learning from you!

So glad you could help.

I so hear you! When I was just a kid I remember seeing a kid mouth off to his grandmother. Unfortunately - mine died when I was 13. I missed her - and she was such an inspiration to me - still is! I hate it when I see people taking older people for granted - losing patience with them. It is so sad.

So glad you were at least there to help.
