January and February weren't the best months for me. I was sick a lot of them with colds/viral infections, costrochondritis, and then my back went out.
February ended well with back withstanding the plane flights of vacation with only minor tweaking needed. Got back into my hard workouts this week too!
I got a new HIIT DVD for my birthday and just had tried it this week. It's a killer!
It has several different 30 minute workouts and then some 10 minute bonus workouts. I've only done 2 of the workouts so far: Total Body and Upper Body.
OMG! I thought that the Total Body would be the killer but it was the Upper Body. Lots of pushups and mountain climbers and burpees with weights. By the end of the last couple of sets, I had all I could do to complete them. That's good! It means I will see results from these workouts. The schedule calls for 1 day of rest a week but this time through I am going to give myself more rest. I will still workout on the rest days but just not doing her workouts.
I've been tracking my food and have only gone over my calories a couple of days and not by much. I did weigh in at work yesterday for the challenge and found that I was only up slightly after vacation. My team mate didn't weigh in this week so not sure how the team overall is doing.
March is going to be the month that I focus on me! I am going to get my workouts in, eat healthy, and keep my eye on the prize!
