Fell asleep in the tub!!!

Friday, March 01, 2013

The epsom salt bath last night was really needed. It helped a little too much though because I fell asleep twice. I'm glad it was only half filled. emoticon

I decided today would be my rest day. We have an early morning tomorrow and I have to wear high heeled boots. That will be a workout in itself after the that workout yesterday.

It's my cousin's 35th birthday. She wants to go to Pickle Barrel for dinner. I'm going to check out the menu ahead of time to decide what I'm going to eat. I will note if I have to make changes or modifications to my meal. That way I won't even have to look at the menu when I'm there. emoticon

We will all be going bowling afterwards which should be a lot of fun. I have not gone in such a long time. I'm not sure how many calories can be burned bowling, but I will wear my pedometer so I know for sure.

If I don't get to anybodies page after this blog. Have a fun, active, restful, and memorable weekend. emoticon

I love my epsom salt baths. I usually add ACV to the water as well to help keep my skins pH balance while soaking, and follow it up with a body massage with oils. A wonderful recipe for a good night rest. Talk about 'Calgon take me away'...lol!

Oh, as for bowling and calories...on the fitness tracker, check under cardio, browse then sports. Bowling is listed.

Now get some rest. I hope you find something you enjoyable to eat and having fun at the B-day celebration.

Epson Salt, hum, After chemo my skin is so dry that it scales...my oncologist has my bathing in it...to make bath "oil" I use 1/4 cup ES and 1/4 cup baking soda....it seems to be working too !!!!

How much do you use for sleep?

I do have to tell you though that my cows really like it for hoof rot! Once introduced to a bath, they stand and chew their cuds!!
