I hope everyone is having a great day! It is sunny and beautiful in Phoenix today. I got to spend about 3 hours outside in the sun watching my son participate in his schools Field Day. Such a proud Momma! You could tell he was trying his best, his sister kept running to him and hugging him. He took it like a champ and was never embarrassed by his little sister. I think I will need to fight off some girls now.
I am trying to get anyone and everyone I know to join a challenge with me. It is simple: do yoga every single day for the month of March. It doesn't matter if it is 5 minutes or 2 hours, I just want everyone to drop into a pose for a bit. Today is day one and I did some quick Ashtanga practice (15 minutes). My daughter (3 in April) dropped down in the schools playground and started practicing all on her own. Again, proud Mommy moment! This is something that will not only open you up daily but also, get your blood flowing, help boost your metabolism, stretch you out, build lean muscle and warm your soul. You will feel so energized when you are done. PROMISE!
On to daily goals ;)
Did I make healthy food choices? Yes! I love green smoothies.
Was I physically active? 1 hour physical training on Wednesday, 4 mile run yesterday, 15 minutes of yoga today and tonight 1 hour of resistance training. I GOT THIS!
Did I feel/act motivated? Yes, I can and WILL do this!
Did I stick to the program? Yep yep yep!
