Some meds do seem to put a stop on losing weight, add not as much activity and there you go---gaining. You will work to get back down again.

(*HUGS*) I am pleased you don't intend to let this get you down. Antibiotics and other meds can really mess with weight. You will heal and you WILL conquer this. I went for a long time and I cannot believe that all of a sudden the weight is almost falling off - not sure why but NOT complaining.

Prayers for you to recover and beat this.

For me, if I want to lose I have to be right around 1200 calories even tho SP says I can go up to 1500. I can only do veges and fruits and protein such as fish, chicken and turkey, yogurt. No grains, besides they trigger me to over indulge. Maybe 1,2 slices of sprouted grain or gluten free grain bread a week. I know it sounds tough, huh? I major in soup! The base of which is butternut squash, then add onion, celery, celeric root, parsley, garlic, carrots and other root veges if available. Hope this helps emoticon

Sorry to hear of your discouragement with the scales today. I know just how you feel! It sounds as if you ate very little today, though - was it enough?

And how did you get on at Martin Mere? What birds did you see?

Don't lose heart - if you keep doing the right things like you are at the moment, one day the scales will get the message!
