The month of February was an ok month for me unfortunately most of it was spent catching up from a week I spent entertaining my friends that came to visit. We had a good time and I don't regret it and I still was able to make some small forward progress for the month.
I have really enjoyed finding a group workout class I really like (Body Pump). Until this year it is something I had only done once my whole journey so far. I find it challenging yet not overly so where I feel I can't keep up. I am still getting used to adjusting the weight I use so I can make it through the whole track without stopping but I am sure I will get it figured out. I am a strength training guy so a lot of classes (zumba, spin etc) didn't catch my interest but finding this class I think has definitely helped. What is really great is it is something I get to do with Korina! :) We both have had personal trainers in the past so we are used to some of the stuff the class asks from us but we only trained together for a short time and this is another way to train together. I really enjoy that!
So anywho on to the numbers for the week.
Starting weight 380 lbs
week 6 weight 272.6 lbs
week 7 weight 272.4 lbs
Difference -.2 lbs
Total weight lost 107.6 lbs
lbs to goal 22.4 lbs
So only a .2 pound loss this week but I will take it. I usually don't lose a lot after after very hard workouts I tend to drop weight after periods of rest. So today is a rest day and we will get in another good workout this weekend :) So after a 7 pound loss in January I dropped a little less than a half a pound this month. I am still losing month over month so very happy about that. Just hope I can stay pretty consistent for march. I don't have to travel to Houston this month (Kids are coming here for spring break) so hopefully that helps. Hope you all have an awesome March!
