My Oldest Son's Surgery Went As Expected...Whew!

Friday, March 01, 2013

Thank you for all of the love and encouragment sent our way for our 16 year old son. The doctor said his bone just cracked in half when he went in for it which he said, as suspected, is typical of osteomylitis. It was contained to just the bone farthest from his toe so that was great news too. He did not have to have his entire toe removed. The bone will still be sent out for cancer testing, but I am not worried because I serve a mighty and miracle working God who I am certain will work all things together for our good.

Thanks again dear friends. If you think of us, would you pray that from here on out the site will not get a new infection, there will be no other complications, and that the infection is indeed completely removed. I appreciate you all!

SPARK ON, dear buddies, SPARK ON!

Will sure keep him in our prayers. When will you get the pathology report back? I'll bet you're relieved that it's over? Hugs, Calen~

I rejoice with you for this good news in the midst of a difficult trial - it's so much easier to take affliction in our own bodies than see our kids go through it. May you grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord! Blessings on the journey!
