So as of today I'm 36 years and 1 week old and I've been hacking away at a 5K for 2 weeks. I did it today in 40:41 (walking / running of course). My goal is to get it in under 38 minutes by the end of March. I get horrible shin splints but for my birthday I went to a running store, had my gait analyzed, got new shoes and insoles. Even some new compression socks. I'm doing this because I think I may be the only personal trainer in history who can't run. So this year I can at least try.
