Things are starting out pretty good this morning--I got paid early again..., I had this question, so I called the surgeon's office, and got my answer this morning...

The question was,"...if I was supposed to have the splint on for four more weeks, but my appointment is five weeks later, should I take off the splint for that fifth week?"

I talked to his nurse today... TAKE IT OFF! LOL

It took a few days to get a reply, and my appointment is Wednesday, so it's only a few days. She said if it gets tired or starts to bother me, just to put it back on for a 'rest period'...

AND... I made up my mind last month that I wasn't going to hesitste to ask for help when I need it any more. YES, I CAN ask!

I just got a phone call from the Elders Quorum President at my church... three people will be here for an hour or two, starting at 2:00 pm--to bail me out, cleaning my house so the landlord can fix the wiring! SO cool!

Things just keep getting better... emoticon

Got a few things to do before they get here... got to clean things up a bit! LOL

I'll let you all know how it goes...

Be well, dear friends!

Ok, sorry had to laugh . . . you have to clean and tidy up before the people arrive who are to clean and tidy up! My dear, you sound like . . . ME! HEE HEE

Oh well, seriously, though, I hope your wrist feels better and can handle having the splint off. I can only imagine you're going crackers not being able to do for yourself, BUT that is definitely when YOU CAN ask for help, as you say.

HUGS and good luck.
