I'm Dutch, and just like most of the world, we use Kilograms and Kilometers to measure weight and distance.
As SparkPeople.com is an American website, it defaults into pounds and miles, which is not really a problem to me, but there's several issues with the site:
On the main page of the 'my trackers' area of this website is the first issue:
it currently says "2 pounds lost!", but it should say 2 kilos lost as my tracker is set to kilos.
if SparkPeople.com chooses to use the word pounds by default, it should at least calculate to pounds as well. Properly switching that line to pounds would make it "4.4 Pounds Lost!", not 2.
It's not a huge deal, but it's annoying as I look at that page several times a day.
Another issue that I found today:
I was mapping my 4.7 mile (almost 8 kilometer) bike ride today and I wanted to calculate the calories lost for the fitness tracker.
But after selecting "90 kilos, 30 minutes", it just said 'ERROR' instead of calculating the calories.
So then I tried "200 pounds, 30 minutes" (which is the exact same thing!) and it calculated the calories just fine.
This basically forces someone who doesn't use pounds natively, to learn how to convert kilos into pounds, as the site simply won't work at times when using kilos.
I really hope this stuff gets fixed eventually, does anyone know a place where I can report these bugs?
