Lent

Those of you who are Catholic or any other religious sect knows that lent means no meat on Fridays. I hadn't really thought about it before yesterday (I know, I know, bad catholic!). I guess I knew subconsciously because I've been eating a lot of fish this month and consequently, managed to skip meat for the last 2 Fridays. Now that I am aware, I'm panicked. I took tuna for lunch today but I usually try to stay away from bringing fish for lunch to work because the smell lingers. I usually have a salad for lunch and no, I am not one of those people who can have salad without some kind of animal/fish protein. SO what do I pack for lunch on Fridays for the next few weeks? Any suggestions?

    Lentils and beans can help add protein, too. Lentil soup is packed with protein!
