MARCH -- A Whole Other Story!!

Well, THAT was fun...NOT!! emoticon I think I've seen enough snow to last me a LONG time! Almost 20 inches in one weekend was plenty! Of course, we needed the moisture, but I'd have preferred it in the form of rain. 20 inches of snow only made a tiny dent in the drought here in Kansas. 20 inches of snow = 2 inches of actual moisture, according to the Wichita weatherdude.

Needless to say, February did NOT end well as far as my eating/exercising plan. emoticon According to my last blog, I was going to give up candy and drink more water, two things that didn't happen! I was also going to try and exercise more regularly, but when there's over a foot of snow on the ground and the roads aren't great, I couldn't get myself motivated enough to get up early and I didn't want to drive home in the dark like I usually do after my HoopFusion class.

March is going to be a whole other story! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

Spring is on it's way! I'm sure we're not completely done with the snow, but hopefully no more blizzards! I've already blown my plan of getting up early and going to the gym before I go to work, but I will definitely go tomorrow morning! I need to find a way to incorporate weight work with my workout routine. We do end the HoopFusion class with weights/abs, but otherwise, I don't get a lot of weight work in. I do REALLY well on the cardio, though!

Challenges for the Month:

1. Getting more weight work in...

2. Drinking more water, less Diet Mountain Dew

3. How to handle birthdays (2 in the family)

4. Exercising daily

Looking forward to meeting those challenges head-on so I can be further away from "that number" (!) emoticon by the end of the month!

    You can do it. Keep your eyes on your goals and your mind committed to them. As beachbody products say Decide. Commit. Succeed. Sounds like you decided, so onto step 2 Commit! Then Succeed!!! emoticon
