Day 60 - Fitness

I joined the 5 Minute Challenge Team and Spark Guy's 10 Minute Fitness Team. These teams fit in with my overall goal of consistent DAILY activity. I like the 5 Minute team's approach - various target exercises, as well as a weekly video. All the resources are online. That eliminates all my gym related excuses. With the 10 Minute Fitness Team, I will always meet my 15 minimum goal. (By the way, with the exception of one day, I have always exceeded or met this goal since starting this streak. That one day was 10 minutes after 3 days of hour long exercise. YAY ME!)
Also, I have taken on additional "insurance" against another excuse -- problem with internet. I have DVDs from Beachbody and will start day one of their 30 day fitness regimen. The program is divided into 10 minute intervals for a total of 30 minutes a day. I have taken my before pictures and tonight I will measure up. It has a website for additional support and incentives. Nothing like SP, but what is?
Finally, I am very proud of my accomplishments with this streak. I have overcome my biggest obstacle - me. No more pity parties because of the medical imposed limitation on my walking because of my foot. No more pity parties because others have reached their goal before I have. No more pity parties because of unrealistic expectations.
I am focused on me.
