Week 17, day 4

Today has been great for exercise and pretty good nutrition too. I did an hour on the treadmill this morning followed by 30 minutes swimming and then went for another walk to the local shops for the wherewithal for a healthy dinner later on, so I think I have caught up a bit for the three slow days this week. Tomorrow will be more restful as I teach for most of the day and I am usually quite tired after that.
This afternoon a friend of mine came round to cut my hair. She also has a King Charles Cavalier and dotes on them, so Daisy gets a trim at the same time but she had to have a proper bath first. Not something either she or I enjoy as it kills my back. Fortunately it recovers quickly afterwards.
It feels good to be back on track with exercise and as an added bonus, I lost another pound this morning so that brings my total loss to 30 lbs since I started.
