Goodbye, February. Hello, March.

As I do at the start of most months, I was feeling good about what I could achieve in February. Then the month progressed and I just fell off track. No legitimate excuses, I just got lazy. That said, below is how I did with my monthly goals and be warned, it isn't pretty.

February goal accountability:
Starting weight = 114, BMI = 21.5
Ending weight = 113.4, BMI = 21.4

Fitness:
1) Strength train at least 3x per week
75% - I ACCOMPLISHED THIS 3 OUT OF 4 WEEKS. I GOT IN 11 ST SESSIONS IN FEBRUARY.
2) Achieve a minimum of 2,000 fitness minutes for the month
76% - I DID NOT MEET THIS GOAL. I HAD 1,528 MINUTES OVERALL FOR THE MONTH.
3) Take at least 10,000 steps per day a minimum of 20 days this month
85% - I DID NOT MEET THIS GOAL. I HAD 17 DAYS THIS MONTH WITH AT LEAST 10,000 STEPS.
4) Lose at least 2 pounds this month
30% - I ONLY LOST .6 POUNDS FOR THE MONTH.

Nutrition:
1) Drink no more than 8 diet sodas for the month
88% - I HAD 9 SODAS IN FEBRUARY BUT I'M SUPER EXCITED BY MY PROGRESS ON THIS ONE. THIS IS WAY BETTER THAN I'VE DONE IN PREVIOUS MONTHS!
2) Track all food and stay within range for at least 25 days this month
92% - I STAYED IN MY CALORIE RANGE FOR 23 DAYS OF THE MONTH.

Personal:
1) Put at least $350 in savings each pay day (there are 2)
100% - I MANAGED TO PUT $700 INTO SAVINGS IN FEBRUARY - YAY!
2) Commit to cleaning house at least 1 day per week
100% - I WAS SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT KEEPING UP WITH HOUSE WORK IN FEBRUARY AND I'VE BEEN LOVING IT AND FEELING WAY LESS STRESSED ABOUT IT.
3) Have at least 10 random acts of kindness/pay it forward actions
20% - I ONLY HAD 2 OF THESE WHICH MAKES ME REALLY SAD. I JUST WASN'T FOCUSED AND THOUGHTFUL IN THIS REGARD.
4) Read at least 2 books during the month
75% - I FINISHED ONE BOOK AND AM HALF WAY THROUGH A SECOND. I'M REALLY GOING TO TRY HARD TO FINISH IT THIS WEEKEND AND GET IT BACK TO THE LIBRARY.

Given that I wasn't overly successful in February, I'm going to keep nearly the same goals for March. I turn 40 near the end of the month and I really want to bring it in on a positive note in terms of eating and exercise. That said, let's go!

March Goals:

Fitness:

4) Lose at least 2 pounds this month

Personal:
1) Put at least $350 in savings each pay day (there are 2)
2) Commit to cleaning house at least 1 day per week
3) Have at least 10 random acts of kindness/pay it forward actions
4) Read at least 2 books during the month
