Cherry blossoms are one of nature's first signs of spring! Everything seems fresh and achievable as new little shoots of grass come up, crocuses poke their heads right through the snow in their eagerness, and I remember an old saying from my Minnesota days. "April showers bring May flowers." Sometimes in Minnesota those May flowers, tiny, delicate little blossoms that they were, had snow all around them -- but they managed to push through!
M = May
A = All
R = Readers
C = Change their
H = Habits
Now with that being said, March is a good time for us to reinforce our motivation by taking longer walks, using the extra energy that spring brings to dance our way through our tasks around the house, take the family dog for a walk, make a game out of spring housecleaning!
And it's time to start thinking more fruits and vegetables rather than the comforting foods of cold weather. Forget those recipes of roast chicken, biscuits n'gravy, bacon & eggs -- instead turn to the healthy cuts of chicken tenders, have you tried the new thin bagels with only 110 cals?
And the recipe SP has for Feta Scramble is delightful, you could serve it for breakfast or lunch!
I could probably go on and on wih things you "could" do to get ready for spring. How about if you join a Challenge on one of your teams. You'd be surprised at what you can accomplish!
