Active Rest Day -TGIF

Happy Friday Spark Friends! I am so glad it is friday and so ready for the weekend!
Yesterday I went to zumba and it was pretty fun. I was a little tired. I had to drive to the house first to let the puppies out and then drive all the way to the studio. It is A LOT of driving and driving always make me sleepy!
But the best part was coming home to the boyfriend that I hadn't seen in almost 2 days to find dinner already cooked! Though I should mention that I burned the crap out of my hand when I went to help toss the pasta! We had chicken sausage with basil pesto whole wheat pasta. Once again I ate the pasta as if I've never had a carb in my life. I think my body is def telling me that I need to up my carbs a bit! They are unintentionally low when I decided to up my protein.
I'm thinking in general I need to change my diet a bit. I'm still looking really bloaty and with the amount of exercise I do, there's no reason for it. By the way I fit in three zumba classes this week with all different instructors. It was awesome!
This weekend we got a busy schedule! We have a 3 hour morning skate practice tomorrow which I'm excited for because I've been skating great lately! Also we are going to pick up some furniture that my coworker is selling to us. We may also have a skate birthday party to go to. Busy busy saturday. On sunday we have the nascar race and I also want to try and drag the boyfriend into a cold cold outdoor skate if the track is not wet!
Anyways, back to work I go! TGIF!
