Almost down to week 3!

Friday, March 01, 2013

Hi everyone!!

It's almost week 3 in my 90 day challenge! I have been going to the gym every Tuesday and Thursday for my group fitness class called T.E.A.M. My trainer has us running for about a half hour and keeps track of our best time. Now if you know me, I really don't like running so I have my phone or iPod with me to distract me from pains and the time on my treadmill. My trainer went around and told us the time we had to beat from last time and I heard 14:21 so I made it my goal to beat that time. Well I got 14:09 and told him the time and he was ,"Wow you smashed that time by over a minute!" I must of have had this bewildered look on my face and I asked him what my original time was. "It was 15:31" he replied with a smile
I was so happy and even my teammates congratulated me. emoticon

I've been peaking at the scale once in a while but my official weigh-in is tomorrow so I will post my weight and measurements then.

Yesterday I went to Target and bought a bunch of snacks for my desk drawer. I was inspired by a pin on Pinterest and really wanted to do a snack drawer of my own. I got a bunch of tuna packets, beef jerky, Larabars, and some nuts.

Alrighty, have a great Friday!!!

I've been wanting to make myself a snack drawer at work too, but I got the idea from Jillian's new book. The idea for me was just to keep myself from eating the crap they always bring into my office. Great minds think alike!

Oh, and awesome job on your time!! Are they recording your time for running a mile within that 30 minutes?
