Bring on the weekend!

Wow, the week flew by as if I were on a tropical island somewhere with nothing to do but scuba dive. Especially the second half of the week. I was busy busy which makes the day fly by. New car stereo installed on Wednesday. Work on Thursday, followed by a session at the gym. Followed by getting the kids, then packing my bags for a weekend getawy.
Heading south for the weekend and I am really hoping for sun. But no matter what I am really looking forward to meeting a new and special friend for the first time! I am excited and looking forward to it.
On another high note, I dropped another pound this week even after the camping and party weekend. So I finally hit the 35 pound mark! GO ME! This week was a pretty good week on the bike. A bit tougher, it was time to add a level to the ride. Tuesday and Wednesday I didn’t notice so much. Last night doing the hill workout, I noticed. But of course that is the point of doing it. Keep pushing, making it harder. Making myself work harder. I have some lofty goals for riding this summer and the more I do now, the easier it will be to attain those goals.
I did learn one thing about my eating habits yesterday though. I evidently need more carbs. I was about 45 minutes in and noticed a really bad odor. Once I figured out it was me, I also noticed it was a strong ammonia smell. Which, evidently is a sign of the body turning to protein for fuel if you run out of the carbs. Not a fun walk through the gym to the locker room figuring everyone was like who is the stinky dude? And of course the gym was more crowded than normal, especially in the locker room. Gotta love how things like that work out!
So, note to self. Eat more carbs before the gym so you don’t get nasty stinky!
Well, I doubt I will post much over the weekend. I will be logging stuff though. Gotta watch what we eat. No more lost ground!
