I just spent 45 minutes writing a blog, and Spark ate it. I could cry.
But I won't.
I'll try to replicate it somewhat...
And So It Begins...
Thanks to evyone who commented on the last blog. I haven't had a chance to respond to everyone who commented on my last blog, but I want to thank you all. I really appreciate everyone who takes time out of their busy day to offer some encouragement. It may not seem like much, but it really does matter.
Quick synopsis of last blog: I've gained about 15 pounds. My pants didn't fit for the first time last week, and I'm freaking out.
Starting tomorrow, I'm going to make some changes. (I'm on a business trip right now.)
Purge the junk food and sweets from the house.
Get some fresh fruits and veggies, along with some lean protein.
Journal and/or blog daily.
Track my fitness. I haven't set a specific goal, for the month, but I want to get a clear baseline for improvement in April.
Stay hydrated. For me, if this doesn't happen, nothing else works.
My "support group" hasn't been very supportive lately. We're all struggling. I need to work with this group to get out of this negative spiral or find a new more positive group. Complaining about weight gain over a cheesy mexican dinner a couple of times a month isn't the strongest strategy.
I've set a modest weight loss goal of two to five pounds for the month. Just to get moving in the right direction again. I don't like to blog just for the sake of blogging, but I will be around more often this month.
