March Goals~Lifestyle Changes!

I haven't done very well while waiting for the 5% winter challenge to get started! Now that it is up and running, I got a terrible sinus infection/cold the very first week. I tried not to let it deter me too much, but it definitely took it's toll. I'm still not well but anticipating that next week will be much better! It's hard to workout with snot and tears flowing! HA!

I am facing some HUGE changes in my life as well! My lease is up on my place and I have decided to stop commuting for an hour everyday and instead move closer to work! Novel idea, huh?! lol Here's the thing, I have also just been classified as "promotable" at work which could mean ANOTHER relocation. I have been stressing over the timeline for over a month now, literally waking up in a panic in the middle of the night! However, I think I have come up with a solution; moving into an extended stay hotel! Yep, that's right! I've got to figure out how to make this work! After a lot of contemplation, I figured out that this is the best solution. Minimize my belongings and give myself a means to get out of debt as well! This is doable and I can not tell you how relieved I am!

I have the next (3) days off to start packing and get a plan in place!

PS I will be joining Planet Fitness as well!

    Good plan! I used to be in the travel industry and there was a chain of Temporary Living Apartments under the brand of "Oakwood". Maybe you can find some in your area. It might be cheaper than an Extended Stay hotel, as they add taxes and fees onto your room rate or "rent".

Maybe you could also speak with the powers that be about their timeline for your promotion. It might give you more insight into temporary living apartment or extended stay hotel.

    I think staying in an extended stay hotel is a great idea. I'm sorry to hear about your cold, but do let yourself recover - lots of rest, drink plenty of fluids, and so forth. lol

    I've stayed in extended-stay hotels when I was in the States during the summer. They are nice cheaper than a motel, and easier to tidy up. Hope you find one close to your work.

    Sounds like you've worked out a reasonable plan while things are up in the air re:work. All the best with your down-sizing, packing, living accomodation hunt, and move. Don't forget to count the fitness minutes for all the work out time you'll be getting packing and moving.

    emoticon Sorry, I must have given you my bad cold. I'm still snotty! Good job on not letting that bring you to a total halt. Hope you are feeling better each day.
Sounds like a great plan to have temporary living quarters until things are finalized at work. Good luck getting promotion. You should be able to count some of your packing time as fitness...pulling things off shelves, moving constantly, lifting pushing, shoving, etc.
