Hubby, middle son and I weighed in yesterday. We use the Wii Fit to do so. We were all down a pound from our last weigh in. My youngest is semi interested in joining us as it suits him. Right now I am not so much looking for weight loss as improving health. The weight loss should be a byproduct of my healthy lifestyle/habits.(I hope)
My morning starts off with good blood glucose numbers, which is great because it will help me heal. Perhaps it is because of last night's supper which was savory Stuffed Sweet Potatoes with Beans and Greens. Yum!
For me it was quick and easy to put together. For my middle son I take the sweet potato out of the skin to make it easier for him, it is still a pleasing presentation. For my tummy I didn't include the crushed red pepper to mine, but added a sprinkling of nutritional yeast.
My menu for today is:
Rip's Big bowl with blueberries
Hummus and cucumber on a whole wheat pita
Spaghetti squash with sauce
