I can't believe it is March already. One good note is I was close to my goal for the month of Feb. So now I hope to be able to lose 4 pounds in this month of March to be able to hit the 160s for my trip.
I have started having smoothies in the morning with oatmeal in them. That seems to satisfy me and last longer. I found some ideas in the womens magazine.
Peanut Butter Apple = 1/2 cup lowfat milk, 1/2 apple (peeled and chopped), 1 Tbls peanutbutter and 1/4 cup quick cooking oastmeal.
Double Berry Blitz = 1 1/4 cup strawberries, 1 cup lowfat milk and 1/4 cup oastmeal, 3 Tbls blueberries.
Banana Blast = 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup frozen raspberries, 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/3 cup vanilla yogurt and 1/4 cup milk.
You mix these in a blender until smooth. Each is 1 serving. They are so good and filling. I last thru the morning longer and seem to be satisfied longer. I either have one for brkfst or as a midmorning snack.
Time to get moving and clean house and get washing done for the week. We have a date to go out on Saturday night with friends my hubby golfs with. So the next challenge is coming to eat right. I think I can do it and come out with flying colors.
