Okay, the magazine is officially OFF the newsstands as of today, so hopefully I will not get into trouble for putting up a scan of it here. My new printer scans pretty well, of course I'm not smart enough to figure out how to get it all in one file. so there's the upper half of the article, and the bottom half is in another picture, and there's some overlap I believe.
But if you're interested at all, and didn't buy the magazine, here it is:
I really like what the writer wrote about me. She talked to me for a long time one morning, and I told her stories that I've told a hundred times before, in my blog here and to other sites and media, but this writer USED some of my stories. Like how I screamed to Duane (hubby) the day I hit ONE-derland to come upstairs and bring a camera (I was stark naked of course--that's how you weigh!), so I could take a picture of that beautiful site--the scale! And how I sobbed in my car that day in the parking lot of the doctor's office after he told me, "The EKG seems to show you've already had a heart attack." And about how my three pregnancies didn't really cause my obesity. I gained a normal amount of weight during those times and strange as it might seem, my cravings were for salads and fruits. But in between and after those pregnancies---HOLY COW---I craved and ate anything but salads and fruits!
Oh and I called the person who is in charge of photography for the articles in Woman's World Magazine again today and this time, she answered the phone. I had left messages twice previously. But today I got to talk to her and she said she would send me digitally some of the photographs that the photographer sent to them. HOW NICE!
Anyway, here is the article--hope you can make heads or tails out of it. I fear it is still much too small to read. Maybe I will get ambitious and re-type it all on a blog someday, but I doubt it.
