Weird week

Friday, March 01, 2013

All week I stayed on Program, but I felt like I was holding onto a tightrope with one toe! I am breaking so many family rules and working under huge stress. Last week I gained almost three pounds. This week I lost 7.4! But imagine my surprise when I put it into my WW tracker app on my phone. I got a message of congratulations, and then it scolded me for losing too fast. Never thought I'd hear THAT.

I worked a 12 1/4 hour day today and I'm probably doing it again tomorrow. I am SO looking forward to the weekend. I do have some things to do, but I can do them slowly. And of course, my three guys will be visiting.

I'm really tired, but too keyed up to go to bed yet.

Keep up the good work!! Don't worry too much about those automated messages - there's a lot of factors that the programming doesn't take into account. As long as you were eating what you were supposed to, it's fine!

Don't fret over the losing too fast message. It could very well have been water weight--I can gain and lose four or five pounds overnight just depending on the amount of sodium I've consumed and then the elimination of fluid with my Lasix. (Before anyone makes a comment, my doctor has me weigh myself every day and I have a sliding scale to add or lessen the amount of Lasix I take based on the gain/loss. This is due to my heart failure.

You're doing a great job. Keep up the good work and don't let anyone discourage you or upset you with their remarks.

Love to hear of your success. Remember you "broke" those family rules and succeeded. Slowly and surely, you will find that those rules have been the prison you are breaking out of... and you have the keys!!!

depending on what I eat.... I've been know to lose or gain 2 pound overnight.
Don't stress the scale...it's the law of averages and the consistency that counts.
Hope you get some stress relief soon....can't wait to hear what wonderful veggie recipes you create

Congrats on staying on program am all week. It sounds like it paid off. I know it's really hard for me to adopted a healthy life style when I am stressed. I tend to grab what is closet and requires the least amount of effort. Enjoy your weekend!

My week was just the opposite of that until last night when I went to Copeland's and ate and ate and ate! It's the first time I have been out to eat and didn't really pay attention to calories or carbs or fat. And from the little info I could find this morning, I know why they don't advertise their "healthy choices" as there really aren't any.

So last night was a treat and today after work, I am back on track and wraping all 10 of my toes around the tightrope!

Congratulations on the weight loss though. I have OMS and am not even going to lok after last night's meal!! HEHE
