Small successes!!

Thursday, February 28, 2013

Here is what I did today.....
I still tracked my food, i went out to Denny's and had a nice healthy lunch with a friend (yeah, I know, it's Denny's but I had the light fare with loads of veggies).
I had whole wheat spaghetti with a tiny bit of marinara sauce and a big plate of raw veggies for dinner. And I didn't have seconds. There, I can make good choices, one meal at a time :)
I will celebrate every little tiny victory and so you all know how determined I am to make healthy choices.... I have started brushing my dogs teeth. How that ties in to Spark? I don't know, but any dog story makes the day better, lol.

But for you Well done, hopefully I will follow in your steps.

Brushing the dog's teeth - Mine hated that.
Hmmm, maybe brushing our own teeth after meals will keep us from eating in between. I have heard that as a tip.

Well done! It's always a huge success when you can make healthy choices when menus are full of the other kind!

Congratulations on your successful day. BTW, I made my dogs gravy with their usual meal, and it made me feel good, too. It always feels good doing something for others.

Keep it up!
