The sidewalks were sloppy from half melted snow with more wet snow falling, but... it wasn't rain so Cooper didn't mind. Yay for happy pooch! I walked him 10.85 miles today. I am glad because he only got about 4.5 miles yesterday with the rain. I also did two short SP videos.
So, I thought I would provide a few numbers on the month of February... I tracked 408.8 miles this month. Not bad for a short month! That consisted of just under 100 miles pedaled, just under 55 miles running, and over 250 miles walking, with an extra 3+ miles on the elliptical. I was also checking my sparkpoints today, and on that page it tells you the actual total fitness minutes you have tracked and I noticed that I am over 101,000 minutes. Wow! That makes me feel like I am really putting in a good effort to change things in my life.
I don't always feel comfortable praising myself, but darn it... I have worked really hard to get to this point! I am really starting to like how I look and feel. I am no longer the "big girl" at the gym. In fact a guy came up to me at the gym yesterday and commented on how hard I was working, and wondering if that was a normal workout for me. When I answered in the affirmative he was suitably impressed. I still have days when I feel like I am slogging through mud or molasses, but more often I feel like a dynamo... a smokin' hot dynamo!
