work out buddy

Thursday, February 28, 2013

i have always been a suffer in silence type, but since i'm having trouble motivating myself, i could use a little help. and you have no idea how hard those words were: i could use some help. cause just so you know I DON'T NEED ANYONE'S HELP I CAN DO EVERYTHING ALL ON MY OWN. it's just that doesn't seem to work as well anymore.

so if you are having motivational problems too and you hate germ infested gyms as much as i do, maybe we can help a sister out :)

I only work out at the Y, because my son has classes there. I treadmill while he's in them. I used to just sit on my....fanny. I don't especially love it, but I do love being able to not feel guilty if I have that second glass of wine! THAT is motivation, baby!

So are you hoping to find someone in your area to do it with - or are you wanting someone to share your goals and successes with. If you want to find people in your area - I believe when you start out with SparkPeople that they automatically join you in a group for your local area. You might post about being interested in finding someone there to be a SparkBuddy. Post there - and see how it works out. If worse comes to worse - you can always have someone to motivate you and check up on your progress and vice versa.

Hope you have a great weekend!

honestly i don't have any big goals, i'm not trying to run a marathon. i want to improve my overall health by simply being active. so i'm looking for a buddy for hiking, biking, pumping some iron, stretching, maybe something different occasionally like rock climbing.
