My DH and I are packing up and getting ready to head back north to Denver. It's a long 2 day drive...maybe we'll take it in 3 days...but then we'll be home again after 2 months in South Padre Island, avoiding most of the Denver snow. We're not winter fans
Anyway, my goal was to not gain any weight on this extended vacation. I won't know until I weigh myself at home but I made an effort. Good things I've done.....1) Kept up my exercise adding bike riding since the weather was good (you should have seen me clawing through the wind on the shore this AM. Dermabrasion by blowing sand, grit in my teeth!)
, 2) I brought some sugar free pudding that I turned to instead of more decadent deserts - that worked many times
, 3) I promised myself "no fast foods no matter how lazy you are" and, with the exception of a KFC run for grilled chicken one chilly night I did this, and 4) I tracked things pretty consistently.
Anyway, SP was a help. Now I have to get through a long car trip (always dangerous with garbage food at every stop you make) and look forward to settlilng back in to my home routine. Talk to everyone next week!
