W1 of C25K complete!!

Hi Spark People!!!
I started running again!! It's been a long 10'ish months since I've run and I was hopeful I could easily pick it back up. I thought I would be able to start the C25K program on like, week 4, but thankfully I didn't just start out there. It turns out running is not quite like riding a bike. I knew I wouldn't be able to start exactly where I left off but I didn't think I'd have to totally start over!!! I kind of had to though.
Last Friday I did week 1 day 1 of the C25K program. It was much more difficult than I wanted it to be. It's hard to go from being able to run 30+ minutes straight to doing only 60 seconds at a time but it's what I gotta do. So Monday I did day 2 and yesterady iI did day 3 and week 1 is officially complete!
Regardless of how hard it is, I'm so happy to be back to running. It will be a long road to get back to where I was but I'll get there. Now I'm off to do my "off" day ST over lunch!!
Oh, and for those of you that are wondering, Baby L is doing great!! She's 16 weeks today (will be 4 months next Friday). We're still exclusively breastfeeding. (Nobody is more shocked about that than I am!) She's trying so hard to talk to us and I love every second of her "talking"!! It's just too darn cute! She seems to really love her daycare provider and all of the kids there. She just starts laughing when she sees them every morning. She finds her hands absolutely amazing and is starting to find her feet. And we are getting back to longer stretches of sleep again. Thank goodness!! I just love, love, LOVE her!
