So last Sunday I went to an upscale grocery store and got 7 different kinds of protein bars. The KIND bars are really good. I love them. They are too expensive to buy singly from the store ($2.09 is expensive) but I have seen them on sale in bulk online. So this is what I will do.
The trick is finding the right time to consume this extra kick of 200 calories/protein. I have been doing it on my drive home from work, and about 30 minutes before a workout.
The thing that I feel is the MOST successful about what I'm doing lately is drinking water. I am doing the same thing I did last week. This week I've not been able to complete my bottle a day yet. Sunday I only got through 1/4th of a bottle, and it got left at the gym. Tuesday I did better, but not completely. Wednesday I did it, and now today I am about half way through my consumption. Working on it, working on it. Ready to go. Got about 8 hours left of work today. Then tomorrow is going to be a lot better.
Trying to figure out my plan for the time I'm on vacation. Maybe the protein bars will be how I get through this without being derailed.
