"What have you done today, to make you feel proud?" or as Mike asked me the other day, "What have you done today to prepare for the Chicago Marathon?"
I was feeling lazy to do my scheduled Hills Workout and could still hear Mike's voice asking me, but I continued to read my email and running blogs to get inspired, only because I didn't want to run up and down The Hill, four times in this yucky snow/slush stuff. Then I came upon an article about Challenging Yourself with Treadmill Hill Workouts. I had 4 Hills scheduled so that was my clue to get off my duff and attempt one of those workouts. So glad that I did and now I have something to feel proud about.
And here is a link to the article that inspired me to not let the weather stop my Hills training but a temporary substitute until I get my butt to The Hill that is just down the road from me.
