Oh well, last week didn't go as planed... I started great, I did a great strength workout on Monday. My aerobics classes were canceled so I did Insanity on Thursday with my brother-in-law-to-be.
But... I was sick again on Wednesday and that was the end of my workouts... I was so tired I could barely get out of bed...
So my boyfriend said that I shouldn't go to classes this week. But I decided I'll do a Turbo Jam 10 day program at home and get back on track. It's kind of get back on the horse program. It plans 45 minutes of workout per day, either cardio or strength. And the diet has a little higher protein intake. I'm on day 2 today and I guess we'll see what happens.
I'm not following the diet precisely, because I don't have the Beachbody protein powder. But I put the food plan in SparkPeople food log to get the numbers and I'm aiming for that goals.
I kind of noticed that I'm not eating enough protein. That's probably why I get really hungry and weak sometimes. I'm developing lactose intolerance (I can have some diary products and other just make me sick) and that kind of takes away some protein sources. But I'm planing to make homemade protein bars that I can take with me as snacks when I can't eat at home. I also think I'll have to change my morning routine. I usually have cereal and coffee, but then I kind of get hungry soon. So maybe an omelet would be a better choice. Any great non-diary sources of protein? I know, I know, I can get lactose free milk and stuff, but I really used to love milk (when I was a child we had cows) and I really don't like lactose-free milk. It's more sweet, I think. I kind of like soy milk.
Since I have been sick for almost three weeks I have been reading every book I could get my hands on.
I loved it. I can't wait I graduate and I can have some me-time.
