No exercise for me!

Thursday, February 28, 2013

So I normally work out every day. I think the last time I skipped a day was like two and a half weeks ago and I normally work out for around an hour or close to it. Yesterday morning I work up with a very sore calf. I drank water and worked out anyway. Yesterday at work my leg was sore all day long and when I woke up this morning I had more of the same. It is not my normal soreness that goes away so I decided not to work out today. Which makes me sad because it is last chance workout today and I enjoy logging in all of the calories I burnt. I want to be able to work out tomorrow so I decided to take the day off of exercise. I know you are suppose to do that anyway but I don't. I don't want one day of no exercise to turn into two then a month. So I try to keep myself moving.

Tonight I have the unfortunate luck to have to take my daughter to Chuck E Cheese. It is the PTA fundraiser night and my daughter is so looking forward to going. I tried to talk her out of it and said I would take her to have a mani and a pedi and she still said no she wanted Chuck E. Cheese. UGHHH! The horrible food and loud noise.

We are meeting some of our friends on Saturday night to go out of Mexican and I am so stumped as to what to order. Between the devil chips that they set on the table to temp you and all of the unhealthy choices I am really going to have to do some research. I will have to eat really light the rest of the day to make up for it.

You should really consider taking a regular rest day from exercise. You may have worked your calf too much. I have no glue as to what to eat at a Mexican Restaurant. It's not my favorite food. Good luck though. I'm sure you will figure it out. emoticon
