I am down 3 pounds from last week, pretty much my biggest loss since December when I had a mild stomach bug for a week (haha).
I do think last week when I weighed in I was retaining water, so that could account for some of the difference. But other than that, I haven't done anything different except avoiding obvious sources of wheat (I haven't been nitpicking every last ingredient), starting last Saturday.
I don't think it's a low-carb thing. Though I haven't touched wheat grains, I never really overate them before - and I have still been eating my fair share of potatoes, corn, fruit, and chocolate. :) I track all my food, so I know I've stayed in the same ranges for calories and carbs. No changes in exercise (unfortunately) either, still pretty much slacking except for my two Zumba classes a week.
I've noticed I've felt less bloated this week as well. Unfortunately my sinuses and joints are still bothering me, but still, maybe there is something to this allergy thing?
I'm still planning on partaking in Pizza Friday with my family (between all our activities it's the one week night we're all together for more than 30 minutes so we eat homemade pizza, chat, and catch up on TV. Lazy, relaxing, and I love it!) So I am interested to see how I feel after. I'll let you know!
Anyone have any experience like this on an elimination diet?
