The Unknown....

Thursday, February 28, 2013

Have you ever had to make decisions that were going to throw you into the unknown?? I guess it's called the CROSSROADS of life. If you go one way, it will totally change your life, if you go the other way, well let's just say your life will stay the same, but not necessarily in a GOOD way. The decision you have to make shouldn't be taken lightly, and it shouldn't be taken quickly! You need to contemplate it, and mull it around, especially when it involves so many other people. What is interesting though, is that because the decision will throw you into the unknown, you have NO way of knowing how it will turn out, or what will happen. If you decide to turn that way, your life suddenly is NOT your own anymore, you have to go on FAITH that it will turn out alright. You may have thought your FAITH was strong before, but this has thrown YOU for a loop. You have to TRUST that it will turn out, and that ALL will be ok. You may even have to TRUST other things, not necessarily your strong suit, but then again the CONTROL that you try to wield isn't necessarily your BEST quality! Maybe it's TIME to lose that control, maybe it's time to MOVE ON.....and to STOP trying to GO BACK, or STAY STILL....
(Ex. 14:15)

We have decisions to make each day. Some are life-changing and some we make not realizing it , but, they can also become life-changing for we don't know what could be around the next corner. I believe that God is in control of our lives and we have to trust him that whatever decisions we make He will look after us if we are his believers! emoticon

Sometimes you just have to trust yourself and just take that leap off the cliff. I did that a couple of times in my life and landed in a really nice place.

It's so nice to see Maggie below. We need to get her back on our team next round.

Is that not exactly what you did when you married your husband or got pregnant with each child? Yes, it is. This is life. All you need to do is to take that first step, irrespective of your decision to stay or go. As you move in what ever direction, you will get the strength and stamina to go on. Of course I would have loved to meet you. Of course I have a bed ready for you and hubby but that is not important now. Of the utmost importance is that you have peace with whatever decision you make. That is my prayer for you and your family.

Sometimes we're called to that leap of faith, and we do have to trust that things work out the way they are meant to. Good luck with making the decision!

when what you have been doing isn't getting you what you want, it is time to blindly leap into another plan. or another way to say it is do something else. even standing still is a leap of faith, because some one else may change things for themselves ans that will throw you off kilter.
