catch up

Sorry I haven't posted in what feels like forever. Between school and clinical (nursing clinical that are 12 hours) I have worked 72 hours from last wednesday to this wednesday... lots of hours. :( But, this is my last semester of nursing and I was kind of expecting it. But, anyway catching up on my cleanse things!

Day 4 was milk, yogurt and bananas - it was a pretty easy day. I was snowed in anyway so I didn't have much else to eat and no will to go out and drive in the craziness! Day 5 was supposed to be 2 10oz portions of lean beef and 6 whole tomatoes. I tried so hard to eat the tomatoes but I couldn't. I despise tomatoes! I can't even hardly eat ketchup! I felt so bad because I had read that the tomatoes were very important that day but I couldn't do it. So i ate veggies instead, so at least it was still healthy. the Day 6 was beef and veggies, unlimited. i didn't eat a ton of the beef but I did eat a lot of veggies at least :D It was a pretty easy day too. Then the last day was brown rice, veggies, and fruit juice. I had forgot to get some fruit juice at the store so I didn't have the fruit juice but I did eat veggies and brown rice. :) Overall the cleanse wasn't too bad at all. The last two days were probably the worst just because I wanted to go out with a few friends and I told them that I could but I would have to eat first... and of course they wanted to go out to eat! But, it was still good. I'm not sure if I lost any weight because I've been so busy that i haven't been able to weigh myself but I do feel less bloated and everything which was my real goal. I will for sure do it again soon... maybe in a few weeks. :)

That last few days my diet hasn't been that bad either. Not great but not terrible. I really need to go grocery shopping... I'm at the point where i am just eating whatever i have in my dorm room because I don't have much! No bueno! Been eating some rice and some tuna. I have this fantastic organic granola with piece of strawberries and dark chocolate! YUM! It is so tasty, but a serving size is only 1/4 of a cup! :( But I've been savoring my serving sizes of it :)

A friend is coming over and we are going out for chinese and watching scary movies all night... i am already feeling guilty about eating it! But, I have been working out ok the last few days. I started a new circuit thing I found on Pinterest that I like. :) Just started yesterday and it was great - it was focus on butt and thighs. I am feeling it today :P But, that's when I feel like I did a real good workout. Today was a scheduled break day and tomorrow I think focuses on arms. I will do that hard core because I will be eating bad tomorrow. I'll eat a good lunch and everything before my terrible chinese! Hoping to stick with this good circuit training workout :) Well there is the catch up write more soon.

    Your plans sound good! And if you don't happen to have a food--or if it's like tomatoes--you work around it. I'll bet you lose at least a few pounds with everything you're doing...despite the Chinese food. Personally, I like Chinese pretty much too.
