And the winner is......Sodium Monster....Boooo!

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

Hey, it isn't nearly midnight, what am I doing blogging now? I was a very bad girl today and gave in to the sodium monster......Taco John's lured me in and it wasn't even Taco Tuesday! emoticon The taco fix tasted delicious, so maybe I can stay strong for a while longer now......The calories were not too bad today, so it was not a total loss.....I just hope I don't retain water now from the increase in sodium......I guess I will have to go to water aerobics tomorrow morning....I was thinking about just sleeping in, but now I am guilted into going. At least now I know what time to show up for aerobics as I got myself added to the email list for updates to the schedule. That will help, no more showing up halfway through the a friend of mine also did a few days ago.
I have a feeling the sodium monster got a big assist from the problems we were having at work today.....analyzer meltdown. emoticon I may have had more willpower if I wasn't so drained and hungry.....I did not get a break before 1:15 for lunch....all I had before that was half of a bottle of flavored water with my medications...not much nutrition in that! emoticon Our mantra is "tomorrow will be better" I hope that changes to "today will be better" now that it is soon to be tomorrow.......LOL I don't want to have to perpetually wait for tomorrow for it to be better! emoticon
I am hoping to get time to do a weigh in at the clinic, as I have unofficially checked at the fitness center, and I may have lost a little, but sometimes the scales don't match, so I will wait to see the "official" results. I think I need to get a PT/INR done this week yet, to see how the increase in Coumadin has affected my clotting. Hopefully the reading will be therapeutic and not still a problem.
I think I will stop rambling and get some extra sleep tonight....good night. Lynel
