I'd like to thank everyone who commented on my Pity Party blog. After reading the comments, it made me think & look at things in a new light. Needless to say..I'm doing better right now. If on Monday I start to feel down, I'll go back & re-read the comments & remind myself...it's ok.
So far this week it's been good workout wise.
Mon - H3ll class (in Pity Party blog...got my butt totally kicked)
Tues - 1,100m Swim - felt good to go for a swim after being on dry land for over a week
Wed - H3ll class - WOW - she killed our legs - I felt like I was gonna pass out/puke at one point!! She also did ALL my favorites (total sarcasim)..Box Jumps, squat jumps, burpees, mountain climbers just to name a few. Ugh. By the end, my legs were like jelly!!!
I knew it had been a while since I'd gone running & it turns out I hadn't ran in 17 days. 17 DAYS!!! So at work I decided I was going when I got home. When I got home I sooo didn't want to go. I was nervous as it'd been 17 days. But I forced myself out the door & went for a 3km run. It was good, but sloppy. My first 3 steps was in a slush/water puddle & my feet were soaked right at the beginning. grrr. It was challenging but I'm happy I went.
When I got home I had a NSV. I was doing the stretch, wide legged forward bend. When I did this move before in yoga I could get my head about 3/4 of the way to the ground & always wished I could do it fully. Well tonight..my arms were at a 90* angle with my head resting on the ground...just like this...
Food wise..well..I haven't had any chocolate binges. So that's a step forward.
