What a difference a week makes!

A lot has happened since my last exercise check-in, and these events are making a BIG difference. Most importantly, I am going to bed between 9 and 10 p.m. and getting between 9 and 10 hours of sleep. I wake up rested now.

I also moved my exercise time to the mornings. I didn't plan to do this, but I have found that it is working for me right now. I am feeling energized after my workout and drinking lots of water in the morning.

After working out, I am hungry so this new routine is also helping me eat during the day. I am eating more often for a total of less calories.

So, I am on day 5 of my new streak: I am sleeping more, working out regularly, and eating more often. Changing my sleep has changed the rest of my behaviors, and I am now setting myself up for success. Its only day 5, but day 5 it is!

Another important discovery I have made is that my fatigue and stubborn weight is the result of a hypothyroid. I am so relieved! So, over the past five days I have been reminded that:

    Getting rest is important as I found out . I can think and enjoy life more when I have some rest ( sometimes I read comforting cozy themes books or play music to quiet my active mind. Writing thoughts down sometimes helps too. I like to experiment what works for me and try different things too . You are on the way to path to wellness!!! emoticon

    This is a great, positive blog post. I love that you are now getting enough rest. I, too, find that exercising in the morning makes my whole day better, including the eating (and it's also more likely to get done that way). Thanks for the inspiration!
