Week 2

Kinda late on my week 2 post.
So week in review...
The Goods=
Drank at least 16 glasses of water each day.
Worked out hard...about 60mins on most days (not including the three 35min ST sessions i did as well)
Tracked calories 4 out 7 days and brought homemade healthy lunches 4 out of 5 days.
The Bads=
I ate out 3x AND major drum roll here - went to the rodeo where everything is deep fried and glorified :(
The latter is what caused me not to lose pounds this week. Im exactly at the same weight I was in Week 1.

Gosh I hate this last part - writing out the numbers...but here we go....

    u know what to do and getting aware of the situation is what it is all about..

last night I had to break my sugar streak...by eating a taro rice pudding at Thai...it doesnt have much sugar but everyone wasnt eating until i ordered too and when it came time to split it...everyone didnt touch it...arghhhh....so it happens...so just get it out of the way and move ahead....

    Hey it's just one week out of so many others that you will have. Like Tori said, it's a learning experience. That's a big part of what this journey is about. Next week just do better than the last and the scale will start heading in the right direction again. Good luck!
Btw, why are there no rodeo pictures, lol?

  It is quite alright. Really proud of you for drinking all that water...It is HUGE struggle for me even though I promise myself.
Your workouts looks AWESOME. On positive side you didn't gain any weight at all...isn't that gr8! Whatever you ate, you worked it off and didn't gain. Hey that is totally positive thing!

If you had BAD lunch/dinner one day, then try to eat only fruits and veggies the next day. It will help your system a bit. I too ate desserrts at corporate dinner few wks ago, after promising that I won't (when everyone is ordering it is SO hard not to). I ate only salads the next day AND worked out in the gym..ran 5K...and weight was OK. It is the day I forget to track that are the worst days for me. I am totally not safe in front of *bad* food at this stage of my life...in corporate events...so I try to avoid going there as much as I can :-(

Green tea and lemon helps too...speed up the metabolism and "remove" fat from system.

Stay the course. Stay positive. Bravo on gr8 wk.
