What is wrong with my scale!!!!

Since starting this journey, I have weighed myself on a consistent basis. I started off doing it 2 - 3 times a week, however, after not seeing as big of a reduction, I cut back to once a week. Once I reached my goal weight, I started a twice a month routine and was always pleased. Fast forward to last week. I have been RELIGIOUSLY working out by focusing on toning my abs, arms, and butt (which I lost along with the weight
). I step on the scale and the numbers GO UP. I'm a bit no make that a lot disappointed. Then the cooler side of me says "that is muscle". I love my cooler side. This was confirmed by one of my besties as well as one of my co-workers who both stated that I did not look as if I had gained and in fact looked as if I had lost a few more pounds. So the answer to the question of what is wrong with my scale - NOTHING. It speaks the truth
