So like I did last month, I am going to post my TOTAL losses since Feb. 1st instead of from my previous measurements...
So, here are my results since Feb. 1st:
Weight: 6.6 lb. lost
Body fat %: 1.1% lost
Upper arms: 0.5 in. lost
Chest: 1 in. lost
Waist: 1.25 in. lost
Hips: 1.25 in. lost
Thighs: 0.75 in. lost
Calves: 0.5 in. lost
For those of you following my blog posts, I do want to point out that I only lost 2 lbs. the 2nd half of the month vs. 4.6 lbs. the 1st half... in all actuality I probably lost more than that! As anyone who knows me is aware, my family are huge Nascar fans... and every year over the Daytona 500 weekend, we have this big family party, w/ all the yummy goodies that goes along w/ that, of course! This year was no exception, though I did have a few more healthy options (turkey meatballs, veggie tray, shrimp ring, baked pickle/mushrooms chips instead of fried). I did splurge that day, which caused me a slight weight gain this week... BUT I worked my butt off (literally) to get that weight off and an additional pound from last week!
So, that makes a total of 5.25 inches lost this month... I improved an inch from last month, which is awesome!
And even more important, since I've restarted my weight loss journey, I've eliminated 19 of those pounds I regained this past year! This month I reached one of my mini-goals: 10% of my original weight gone (cutting it down to 5% increments makes it a little less overwhelming for me)! So now, I'm on to my next goal: 15% lost (or another 12 lbs, to a weight of 231)
February was slightly better than January, so I'm hoping that I can keep this trend goin' for an even better March...
