I have maintained a sugar free lifestyle of over two weeks! I am so proud of myself. It is still incredibly hard though and I'm anxiously awaiting the time that my brain says "You've got this, it's easy." On Friday I start adding fruit back in to my diet and plan on making a fruit salad this weekend with Persephone.

I have kept up my plans of working out four times a week.
I have been eating within my calorie range and tracking everything every day this month. This is kind of a record for me.
I have been sleeping!
I have been meditating.

So yeah, I have no idea what my scale will say on Friday but I'm happy with my progress regardless of the numbers. emoticon

And I bet adding fruit back will help a lot with the "I've got this" feeling, since you'll be able to have something sweet if/when you crave it. And what's the worst that happens? You have fruit 5 times a day? Oh no! :)

    The scale is one dimensional so it never tells the whole story. Hopefully it will be encouraging.

    I went sugar free about 7 weeks ago and I have to say I have never felt better. I still haven't added fruit back in but plan to. I realized that all of the brain fogginess and depression had to do with my sugar intake. I'm not saying I won't ever have a piece of cake but it will be a very rare occurrence. Good Luck to you!
