trying times

The past couple of weeks have be filled with STRESS and I suffered a back injury at work, so I've been a little, okay a lot, under the influence of a pain relief drug cocktail.
The stress of my hubby changing jobs yet again. He worked in a gold mine up north and for 14 years worked for two weeks and was off for two weeks, an excellent rotation. After the area was mined out he got another job at another mine, hated it went to another mine it was okay but then he got a job locally a mine that has just started up...great to have him home everyday but a total gong show to work for and it's all come to a head over the last couple of weeks, and now it looks like he will be leaving soon for another camp job.
Icing on the cake I injured my lower back and have not been able to work or work out which means we are both kicking around the house being stressed and on my part a little dizzy and light headed from my meds. I didn't have the energy to even go onto spark people. I didn't eat all that terribly, but didn't track and couldn't work out.
I'm feeling the need to get back to tracking my food, even if my running and strength training have been put on hold(hopefully not for too long)
Now to catch up on all my spark friends doings.

    I apologize as I have not been keeping up to date with all of my SparkFriends as I have been so busy at work with parent-teacher conferences. I am so sorry to hear about your injury. That certainly puts a damper on your plans, but please take it easy. Get in some much needed rest and take things slowly. I'm sending you warm wishes for a speedy recovery, my friend!

    wow so sorry for all your troubles !! I hope the stress gets better and ESPECIALLY your back !! (((((((((hugs )))))))))) Those back problems are to be taken seriously!
I have to track my food or I am in big trouble but everybody is different !!
You can do this.... hang in there and we'll be waiting for you !

    I am so sorry your back hurts! Have gone through that myself and it is not fun - wanting to do so much and you can't! Hope the stress eases up for you and hubby both and that you are back to normal soon.

    You are definitely going through some extra stress right now! My back has gone out once and that was enough! I'm so sorry you are dealing with that pain right now, but glad you are taking care of yourself to let it heal. Stay strong and know that your spark friends are here to encourage and support you!

    Here's a shoulder and an arm to lean on -- and a big hug, too! What a lot to go through just now. Love your expression re: the gong show -- haven't thought of that in a LONG time and makes me glad to hear your humor even when things are tough. Like the tracking idea -- have been reading over and over again (seems like every time I open a magazine or am online) about the 80% diet/20% exercise concept for weight loss -- that 80% of our loss is from diet and I know that for me -- tracking is so key (one of the reasons I like Spark in fact -- 'cause it's so easy to track on this thing ). Anyway . . . one step at a time . . . hugs, hugs, hugs!!!!!

    If you can't work out vigorously, just track, track, track. You can do it! I find I can out eat any amount of exercise, so I have to track.
