more important than ever

My Daddy has cancer. I still can not believe that the man who raised me, dried tears, and fixed scrapped knees now can not drive a car because he is too weak. The man who read me Inside Outside Upside down and the Bears Vacation, has problems reading the newspaper. He was diagnosed with cancer of the bone marrow and is going through 12 weeks of treatments. We have already been told that if the treatments dont work the next step is finding a bone marrow donor. There are a lot of restrictions I have found out that will eliminate you from donating marrow. One is if you are overweight. So now more than ever before I must loose weight. I would love to say it is because it is because I want to be healthy, or I want to look good in a swim suit, or even because I want the body of Julia Roberts. It is none of those reasons. It is because of the man who raised me and taught me to put others before yourself, that a little kindness goes along way and not to be selfish now needs me to be strong and healthy. My new goal is to help my Daddy any way I can.
